I spent six years inside Apple's App Review — 600,000+ submissions, and a seat on the App Review Board, where rejected developers escalated to have their case re-examined. I know what a reviewer is actually looking at, why the rejection you received says what it says, and what a resubmission needs to contain to clear it.
Most rejections are not rule violations. They are misunderstood conventions, a missing explanation, or a build that fights the platform in a way the guidelines already anticipate. Those are fixable in days, not weeks — once someone tells you which one you have.
Apple Worldwide Developer Relations, 2010–2016. Reviewer, then App Review Board.
Fixed fees. Scope agreed in writing before anything starts.
You have a rejection in App Store Connect and you are not sure what it actually means. I read the rejection, the build, and the guideline it cites, then tell you precisely what to change and how to word the response.
Before you submit. I go through the build the way a reviewer will, and give you the list of things likely to trigger a rejection — so you find them instead of Apple finding them a week before launch.
For agencies and studios shipping continuously, where a stuck review is a client problem as well as an engineering one. On call for review questions as they come up.
I do not work at Apple and I have no influence over your review. I left in 2016. There is no back channel, no contact I can call, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something that does not exist.
What I have is the reviewer's perspective. I know how the guidelines are applied in practice, which parts are judgement and which are hard lines, and what a resubmission needs to say. That shortens the loop from weeks of guessing to a couple of days of specific changes.
I will tell you if you do not need me. Some rejections are a one-line metadata fix and you should not pay anyone €450 for that. If that is what yours is, I will say so in the first reply, at no cost.
Guidelines change. Mine is experience at scale, not a current-quarter policy subscription. For anything turning on a rule introduced after 2016, I will say plainly where my knowledge ends.
Paste the rejection message and a line about what your app does. I will tell you what I think is going on and whether it is worth engaging me — before you pay anything.
